Attention history buffs, public works professionals and engineers of Northern California!
A special silent auction will be held July 15 at our booth at the downtown Martinez Maker's Market. This auction will focus on a small collection of rare/unusual books with topics such as Bay Area bridges, Engineering, Public Works and historic Bay Area planning documents.
The small collection of 20-25 specialty books are gently used and come from the archives of the Contra Costa County Historical Society. The books are unrelated to Contra Costa County and therefore we divest ourselves of these writings.
Details of the silent auction:
Date: Saturday, July 15, 2023
Time: Bidding starts 11:00AM, bidding closes 2:00PM*
* You do not need to be present to win a bid. Arrangements will be made with you at the booth. Please stop by!
For more specifics about the collection, you may call or text the APWA NorCal Chapter Historian John Mercurio at (925) 876-0327.
